Are you a beginner seeking to advance your skills in the captivating world of flash photography? Look no further than JMOS Photography Lighting Mentorship. Our program is meticulously designed to cater to each student's unique needs, offering personalized guidance and instruction tailored to your schedule and location.


Our mentorship comprises two comprehensive sessions, each spanning three hours (depending on distance, it can be condensed into a single session). Throughout this immersive experience, we will evaluate the gear you currently possess and provide recommendations for any additional equipment you may require. Moreover, we will teach you the art of harnessing your gear effectively and efficiently.


To ensure a seamless learning experience, all lighting equipment—such as speed lights, strobes, umbrellas, softboxes, and triggers—will be provided by us. You need only bring your camera and lenses, ready to embark on an enlightening journey.


With JMOS Photography Lighting Mentorship, you will unlock the secrets of proper gear utilization, gain confidence in using various lighting techniques, and elevate your ability to capture mesmerizing moments. Prepare to witness your flash photography skills flourish as you delve into this transformative mentorship program.


In 2024, our exclusive 1-on-1 mentoring program is available at a cost of $800. To secure your booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of $400. The remaining balance will be due the week prior to the commencement of your first session. This ensures a seamless and hassle-free experience, allowing you to focus on your journey towards mastering flash photography.




Session Itinerary:


Session 1 (2 hours):

During this time , we will focus on gear evaluation and understanding how to properly use your equipment. I will assess your camera, lens, and flash, providing detailed guidance on maximizing their potential. We will delve into the intricacies of different lighting equipment, including speedlights, strobes, umbrellas, softboxes, and light stands. By the end of this session, you will have a solid foundation in gear utilization and a clear understanding of various lighting tools.


Session 2 (2 hours):

In this session, we will take your knowledge to the next level through a hands-on photoshoot with a model. Whether indoors or outdoors, we will select a location that complements the desired aesthetic. You will have the opportunity to put your skills into practice, experimenting with different lighting techniques to capture stunning images. Following the shoot, we will dive into post-processing, exploring workflows and techniques using popular software such as Lightroom or Capture One. By the end of this session, you will gain invaluable insights into editing your images to enhance their visual impact.
